New school viewed
Hello everyone,
Yesterday was the day that, after a long wait, we were able to go see the new school that charlene will go to after the summer vacation.
Because then the time has come for her to go to secondary education.
Super exciting and really another completely new chapter.
Charlene does not go to regular normal secondary education, such as Vmbo or Mbo. Charlene goes to Special Secondary Education, which is more like a school that focuses on almost nothing but practical things. So actually, to make it easier to say, do everything with your hands. Ideal, right? That makes learning a lot easier, I think.
I do remember when I went to secondary education that I really had to sit with my nose in the books a lot, though.
Charlene found it very exciting yesterday and was therefore a bit quiet. But nevertheless, she also answered the questions that the woman asked her very nicely and politely. It's okay that woman also wanted to know a few things about her, of course, but Charlene did a great job.
What direction could she all go at that school??
So she can start thinking about the occupations that she can do from that school, because it's all practice, a bit like a cooking course or whether she could go more into the landscaping direction or maybe a cleaning course. Or if she would rather do something with animals, she can all work her way up so high that a very bright future will certainly be waiting for her.
She will stay at this school for 6 years, after those six years, so she just has a good job. So many things that are open to her, in fact, what none of us expected.
Not only does school guide her so well, but we, as parents, certainly contribute to that.
Charlene also now sees that there would really be a bright future for her and that she will really get there with this guidance.
Charlene is on the way back in the car yesterday, but I can't wait to go there already. New challenge and a fun school.
She even wants to make a countdown calendar for herself and then check how long it will take before she can go to her new school.
Now she also says that this was a very good choice. In July, she also has a Wen day when she will come to class with all her classmates, whom she will then meet.
Of course, that is also very exciting, but she is looking forward to it.
Yesterday, after a long time, Charlene was really happy again and was able to look forward to something again.
Then in the afternoon, I took a lovely 84 km walk with her and had a lovely chat with her about the school.
So positive that she was about it and so happy that made even my mom feel good.
Fighting for your child, that's just what every parent should do. Your child is the most important thing and you do everything you can to do that.
School is now resolved for Charlene. Now we are busy getting her back to her hobby and that is Horseback Riding. Unfortunately, we have to keep looking for her after we had something perfect for her, but unfortunately that is not going to happen now.
But we will keep looking because the intention is that charlene will also build her own club of friends, and she really wants that too.
We stay positive and will keep going so long so that it is all well organized for her. They don't say anything for nothing, but after rain comes Sunshine, and that's how we all look at it a bit.
That's why I haven't been working very much with Yoors lately, because it all takes a lot of time and an awful lot of energy. But I love to put that into my family.
The family is number 1 for me and the times are definitely getting better for us, I'm going to fight for that.
I'm already working hard and I'm proud of that.

Charlene, I just read about your new school. I think that's a great school and how many choices you can make, what you can do. Great, hear good luck.!!
