So, what's your New Year's resolution?

I've been asked the same question many times and still don't have an answer. I already have numerous goals and resolutions for 2023 that I'm still working on, so I don't need to add more.

The thing is, not many know what I'm up to. Why? Because I prefer to have it that way. I prefer to keep my plans to myself. I like to work quietly without seeking sympathy if I fail. However, if I succeed, I'm happy to share my achievements.

In my family, if one person knows, it stays a secret; if more than one person knows, everyone knows. I'd rather avoid the whole village knowing my business, so I keep things hush-hush.

But, between us, I have around a dozen goals for the year, and I'll share five of them (no, not all of them).

1. I completed an eBook before the end of 2023.
Few know that it was a goal throughout 2023, and I successfully achieved it. Now, I want to continue and finish more books.

2. Lose more weight.
After getting sick in 2023, I lost a lot of weight, but I'm not yet where I want to be. However, I'm on the right track.

3. Establish better morning rituals.
I've already started waking up at 5 in the morning, giving myself time to relax, before work. I read and plan to add exercises to reach goal 2 faster.

4. Be more active on social media.
I've created TikTok and Yoors accounts to engage more. Yoors is similar to Medium, and although I don't know much about TikTok, I'm trying it.

5. Improve time discipline.
I bought a new calendar with more space for details. I hope to use it as planned to stay organized.

I've learned from past mistakes of making drastic changes, only to end up back where I started. This year, I'm making small changes that will eventually lead me to my goals. I believe these goals are the right ones to begin with.
