New Year's Crafting
You can cover an ordinary toilet roll with colored paper and fun stars. Make a roof of a circle that you cut to the center and then turn it to a pointy tip. Don't fix the tip with the stapler. Don't put some strips of crepe paper at the bottom and glue a stick to it. If you put several in a pot or in a bucket of sand, it's a cozy result.
If you want it a little more complicated, then you choose this flare. It is made of a toilet roll (the longer of a kitchen roll) and wrapped with cord/rope and then wrapped with aluminum foil. You color that with markers and with the glitter chenille thread (pipe carriers) it becomes a festive whole.
