Nice to hear that Candy Crush Saga misleads people

I've been playing Candy Crush Saga for years, every day, because I like it and it's relaxing. Usually, sometimes you only need to have one color or crush one last box or have one more candy, but then it turns out you can't make it to the level. That sucks, but no man left overboard, I'll just keep going happily until I've reached the level. Sometimes I spend up to two weeks with a level and all those help options shouldn't help, but no problem, it feels all the better when you finally reach the level. I am now at level 2360 and just read https://frontalgamer.com/nl/cuantos-niveles-tiene-candy-crush/ that I still have a lot of levels to go, because there seem to be 13,734 levels now and more are being added every week. So I'm still a long way from playing. And no, I don't mind, it keeps me off the street, shall we just say.
But what I actually wanted to talk about. This week, I was reading a book and that seemed to keep me quite busy. Then I played a game of Candy Crush Saga until I ran out of lives. In this case, that was fast, because I just couldn't get through the level. So I wanted to use a life that someone had given me and then go back to playing. It was a big shock, because it turned out that I had already used my 20 lives before that day. I wasn't so concerned about it and thought I was so in mind about the book I was reading that I might have played the game unnoticed. The other day, I saw again that I had played twenty lives and began to worry that I might be suffering from memory loss. Until I accepted a life and saw that the counter went back instead of going forward. So not 0/20, but 20/20 at the beginning. Turns out Candy Crush Saga had secretly changed that. I think they should have let their players know that, because I'm probably not the only one who started to doubt themselves with that.
