The research was a total success, there were no problems in the tests we conducted. We had discovered a universe parallel to ours; but the portal became unstable. We thought there would be beings like us, except for small differences. But what we discovered was much worse, they were not even close to being human, they materialized in the density of that “fog”. Half the country was already in chaos when we tried to react and close the portal. Large weapons fell faster than expected, large cities were reduced to ashes believing that the solution was the nuclear option. There is nowhere to hide, we are the culprits and a few have succumbed to guilt. I think it's just me and my gun. I can wait for them to come in for me or try to open the portal one more time... #horror #relatosnocturnos #mist #monster
