Thinking back to my mother

6 July 1934 - 21 January 2001

inmemoriam

Today you would have turned 86. That's the age Dad just reached. But you got away from us many years earlier.

When I think back to you, I see a little woman with a beautiful loving character. A mother who was always there for her kids, having a delicious cup of tea when we came out of school or something. A support and toelaat also for pa. And with a beautiful alto voice in the choir, which sounded beautiful next to his bas-baritone sound. Yes, you two complemented each other in many ways. And that is why an occasional tribute is appropriate.

How often we could laugh with and at each other. Not mean, but always with a smile. Just because we loved each other in our family and had things for each other. My memory of you stays, Ma!
