Noah's Ark is coming to Lelystad!
In 2018, I worked on the Zonnebloem boat. One fine day, we saw Noah's immense ark being towed in Rotterdam. This ark has been in my native village of Zeewolde for years. Which was already quite a coincidence.
Now I just read that the boat has left for Lelystad! My current place of residence. Totally fun as a boat enthusiast.

The story of the Ark
THE ARK IS A GREAT MYSTERY.
What's no mystery is that the Ark is 70 meters long,
10 metres wide and 13 metres high.
It took 1,200 FSC trees to build the Ark alone and 20 weeks to cut the trees into beams and planks. The inner part of the Ark was made of pine trees; the outer part of the Ark was made of red cedar wood from Canada.
The Ark was built on a barge that used to transport iron ore. The Ark itself has no engine and is therefore being towed.
