Finally, it's spring again!

Yes boy lovely, it's May again.

The terraces are going to migrate again and the three AAAs are of course part of it.

Throughout Brabant, the weather is all over the map.

Amazingly delicious and definitely worth it.

This month, the month of May, is the start of another culinary party.

Unfortunately, it will end when it has been July.

I can already hear the people of Bergen proudly boast.

Yes, I see a sense of pride when they mention red, white and salty gold.

All three so different, yet from the same season.

All three are completely different, but together they are culinary champions.

Together, they form an inspiring whole in many kitchens.

Brain grinding, many chefs form the menu with this showpiece.

We'll take the king of summer and we'll add the queen of vegetables.

Eventually, a trio forms, because of the pride of weather fishing.

They go through life as Bergse regional products, that has been the case for years.

They 'just' belong to Bergen, with its beautiful Brabantse Wal.

Nevertheless, bringing these pearls together, as the pride of our Bergse country, came about more than 40 years ago, in restaurant “de Bloemkool”.

The “creator” of these three units knew about their splendour.

We will never forget the “creator” of these three units.

This specialty has been on the menu in the spring for over 40 years.

But the birth of this creation comes from a single individual.

He was a man, he was a father, he put the three highly acclaimed AAAs on the map.

He and no one else, and full of pride, he was a Bergse waard.

His name is Bosters, it was entirely and completely his idea.

So if you say AAA three times in Bergen, you will automatically say B from now on!
