#Yoorsnovember On 14 November is celebrated worldwide Diabetes Day, this date is celebrated since 1991 promoted by the international federation of diabetes (F I D) and the world health organization (O M S) that created this global campaign to the worrying increase in the incidence of diabetes around the world.

The date of November 14 was chosen because it coincides with the anniversary of Frederick Bauting who, together with Charles Best, conceived the idea that would lead them to the discovery of insulin in October 1921.

In 2007, the United Nations recognizes and celebrates for the first time this world diabetes day. #yoorsnovember
