Numerary nipples!
This is a Lithograph from 1827, It shows a woman (Therese Ventre) breastfeeding her baby while feeding, at the same time, her daughter of a supernumerary breast or “extra” breast that she has on her left thigh.
POLYMASTIA,
as the name suggests, is the existence of more than two breasts. Each “extra” breast is called a “supernumerary breast” and has an abnormal situation.
In extremely rare cases, extra breasts can appear on the neck, face, upper arm, shoulder, back, buttocks, vulva, perineum, thigh, and even on the foot.
On the other hand, the presence of supernumerary nipples is known as “POLITELIA”.
In ancient times, women with several nipples were considered witches. It was believed that demons, and creatures from other worlds, were breastfed through those extra nipples, so they were known as “witch's nipples”.
Today we know that it is something very natural
