Un coñac algo añejado.
Salvatore Calabrese soñaba con crear el coctel más caro de la historia. Tan solo una copa de esta bebida costaría 8.800 dólares.
Tras haber juntado todos los ingredientes necesarios, costosos y antiguos (un coñac del siglo XVII, licores de los siglos XVIII y XIX y un tónico de 1900), estaba esperando a que apareciera el primer cliente que deseara probarlo.
En 2012 en Londres al fin tuvo la oportunidad para prepararlo: salió una persona dispuesta a pagarlo. Sin embargo, sucedió una desgracia: cuando el cliente tomó en sus manos la botella del ingrediente principal, el coñác Clos de Friffier Vieux de 1788, el envase con un valor de 78 mil dólares se le cayó de las manos. El sueño del barman se rompió junto con la botella.
