#Overcinge 🤓 Ocinge is a monumental mansion in the town of Havelte in Drenthe.
Ocinge was originally a fame of the Gelderland house Putten near Elburg and was already mentioned in the early 14th century. In the 15th century the De Vos van Steenwijk family was a loaner of the good. However, the current house Overcinge is of a much later date. The house was registered as a national monument in 1965 in the National Monument Register. The building was sold in the eighties of the 20th century. The building has been extensively restored and now serves as a meeting and congress centre and as a wedding venue.
