Introduction

The Bible contains a few texts about the offices in the church. We would therefore like to start this article with a text from 1 Corinthians chapter 12 verse 28: “God now has given some in the congregation a place: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then forces, then grace gifts of healings, forms of assistance, administrative gifts, all kinds of languages.”
