Old seat to container, but recycle with the leather first

That good old three-seater, he finally gets to the container park.
His last place became my son's mancave.
But now he's totally up, and my son got a nice three-seater that is still in very good condition, so time to take the old one away.
The leather seats were completely peeled off.
And the sessions collapsed deep.
My son set him up on the terrace to take it away when I noticed that the back was pretty much perfect.
I started to think it would be a shame to throw this beautiful leather away.
And last summer I was looking for a leather bbq aprons.
When I saw the price (89€ for the cheapest copy) I thought it was too expensive.
But now I had a large patch of leather, a sewing machine. and a lot of desire to do something with it.
The result (see picture at the bottom) may be there for me :-)
