The classic everyone must have seen at least once.

Olivier B. Bommel is a 'Lord of Stand' and inhabits Bommelstein Castle. After a thunderstorm, he finds an enigmatic egg in his park. The egg soon comes out and a strange green creature creeped out. It turns out to be a swelling bark. Since this swelling bark sees Lord Bommel first, this little dragon considers Lord Bommel as his father. Lord Bommel calls him Zwelgje.

Adventure Lord Bommel's young friend Tom Poes and the posh Butler Joost don't trust the matter and much to their displeasure they get right. When Zwelgje doesn't get his way, angry or anxious, he grows into a giant dragon. This is how he disrupts the beautiful party, which Heer Bommel has organized in Bommelstein for notables of the town of Rommeldam.
Olivier B. Bommel (called Ollie by Tom Poes) has to flee and Zwelgje drags him into a big and exciting adventure, which ends in a cold prison cell after a brutal bank robbery and a wild ride through the Black Mountains for Ollie. Welgje ends in the circus, where he must show tricks. Ollie is finally freed by Tom Poes and can free his dragon child from the circus and bring it back to the wilderness where Zwelgje belongs. But Ollie complains, 'a Lord must always do everything alone too.'
