#readtoday In life when we have to work, I'm sure many of us saw the time hoping it would pass quickly to run away and get home. At least it has happened to me so many times, because we always get up early to get to our work on time and be responsible people.
That's why today's reading contrasts different times when we want to get home fast to feel in our best space, lie in bed to rest.
“For the Lord Himself with the voice of command, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God, will descend from heaven; and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who live, those who are left, will be taken together with them in the clouds to receive the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.” 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
In the same way it happens in spiritual life, our destiny and longing is to be able to get us soon with Jesus when he comes for the second time. Although this is not an easy task, we have to prepare ourselves through a close relationship with Jesus on a daily basis.
So I invite you through this reading so you can meditate and think that Jesus is coming soon, he wants you to go to that beautiful home he is preparing.
