Once an 11th of August at the Gran Paradiso

And now action! Looking for the Rose Root in my Italian Alps. At 7 am I standing at the mountain farm between Lake Serru and Agnel. Five dogs of all kinds come, the one barking the others lurking at me. The farmer is in the almost dark stable milking his cows. I ask a gesture if I can park my car at the farm for 3 days. After some confusion, doubt, the man points to me a place. And then on the way to the Rhodiola spot two years ago. Half an hour later, spot in sight, the Rose Roots are still there. More than I imagined. A slope full! Most plants are difficult to reach, but near the path in the loose rock some have been stepped loose, I can take them with me with a clear conscience. Scraps of rose root three days as a fragrant amulet in my backpack. Now nothing can happen to me!
