#Erase Once Anastasia: is a planned family film, released by Netflix in 2021, about adventure and fantasy, written and directed by Blake Harris (The Little Mermaid), which follows the adventure of Anastasia a beautiful young woman, the Grand Duchess of Russia, daughter of Emperor Nicholas II and the last tsar of imperial Russia who after escaping an attack on her family on Vladimir Lenin's side, finds a strange portal of time, which transports her, in a matter of seconds, from Russia in 1917 to the United States in 1988, a decade in which she befriends a peculiar young American who is familiar with her history. This young lady helps her to adapt to that new life, and to find love.
Anastasia is a live-action adaptation of the 1997 animated film about the young Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolayevna of Russia, who was the only survivor of her family, as the rest of the family was executed. The story focuses especially on this 18-year-old girl, who runs away while trying to survive in her now unwell-off life.
