Iedere IJslander zal zeggen dat je geen IJslander bent, tot je op zijn minst in een hotpot hebt gezeten.
Ja, da's leuk, dachten wij, maar we gaan dus echt niet in het openbaar naakt douchen, en daarna (in badkleding) in een bad zitten met wildvreemde mensen.....
Maar ja, het is wel wat IJslanders het liefste doen!
De gemiddelde IJslander ontspant zich graag in een hotpot, samen met vrienden en bekenden wordt er dan over van alles en nog wat gesproken.
Vrijwel ieder dorp heeft een hotpot, of warm zwembad.

Great, I actually see a hotpot in my garden, maybe consider a hot tub.
@Mevrouw Stip. Strangely enough, that doesn't appeal to me at all, but such a hotpot there is a completely different experience.
That also seems nice to roast in a pot like that. Good thing they're not witch cauldrons;) Nice pictures and video!

aha a nice audible waterfall 😍 enne in the hotpot you had to expose hey. but no you secretly put on a swimsuit. But well addicted so.hihi So you sleep in the lower part which is blue (at least blue looks like the picture)
@marijke in the hotpot you put on a swimsuit or swimming trunks, for that you have to shower (at the landscaped hotspots). Otherwise, I really wouldn't have gone into it 🤣. Yes right, we slept in the blue part 😊. Thankyou!
Lovely, I understand a hotpot addiction, here is a lazy spa in the garden and when I go in I relax a lot better. But also with such a view, great.
