Open gardens days in the Noordoostpolder. In mid-June, several gardens in the Noordoostpolder are open to the public and we visited four of them. How lucky we were with the nice weather.
Lancaster garden.
First we cycle from Emmeloord to the Lancaster garden. A garden with clean lines, where you can see a lot of art (also for sale) and a bunch of beautiful ponds.
Atalanta.
There are not so many butterflies so this atalanta has all the space with some whites.
Dragonflies.
At the first pond it is immediately clear that dragonflies live here. I wonder if the glassmaker just snuck out.
