Optical Illusion in 3D

#whattodrawwhenbored When my husband and I are bored, we investigate some drawing techniques and try to draw new things, it doesn't matter if these techniques are old, they don't go out of fashion and we can create interesting patterns, which can be applied, on walls, murals, furniture and stop you from counting, this technique that I bring today was used a lot in the 60s and has a geometric air that liked a lot at the time, it is easy to do.
1- The first thing is to observe the area where you are going to draw, a wall, a piece of furniture or simply a sheet as in our case, this is how the size is determined, I chose to make a pattern of 8 centimeters by 8 centimeters, with an inner picture of 4 centimeters by four centimeters.
2- Then the pattern is cut out, to trace it as many times as necessary on the area to be drawn
3- Once the pattern has been traced over the entire area, the colors to be used are selected, this is to the liking of the artist, depending on the area, if it is a wall in a room, and this is something dark, light colors will be chosen, or if you want a striking design, we will choose vibrant and bright colors. In our case, two shades of green were chosen, which contrast with a strong pink
4- Then it is decided which of the angles to paint in each color, as you can see to give a three-dimensional touch, the right vertical area and the bottom horizontal area of the design were chosen for the lightest green color and the left vertical area and the upper horizontal area for the darker green, leaving the central square in pink.
5- Then the chosen areas are filled with color and finally we see our 3D design with a pop air.
As you can see it is something very simple, which can decorate a lot and give character to a room or a picture on our wall, the motifs are varied, in square, rectangle and why not in hexagon, I hope you enjoy doing it and place your comments here.
