Orange eeuwinnen a year later
Last year at this time, the Orange Eu winners set the atmosphere in our country. They put down a beautiful tournament at the World Cup Women's Football in France. One of the highlights was the goal of Jackie Groenen in the semi-final against Sweden.
Unfortunately, the coronavirus threw soot in the food. Otherwise, the Olympic Games would have been in Tokyo this summer. With our Orange Leeuwinners, of course.
That tournament has now been postponed for a year, so next year will be another sports summer. This year is a lost year in that respect. A bit of a very bald sports summer, say.
