The coronavirus seriously affects TeamNL's performance at the Tokyo Olympic Games. At the time of writing, 4 Orange athletes in the Olympic village have been tested positive. That means quarantine at the peak of the career.

But what about missing Olympic gold guaranteed when cycling? The domination of Orange in the women's cycling platoon has been great in recent years. So a full orange stage was predicted. But it stayed with silver, because oh what did the ladies look like?!
The Austrian Kiesenhofer rides forward with a group from the start of the race. The group gets 11 minutes ahead. It accelerates and stays out of sight of the Oranges; literally and figuratively.
And so Annemiek van Vleuten goes down literally and figuratively. She thinks she won the title at the finish line, but the Olympic gold goes by her nose.
