After yet another dry summer, where the lawn looked more like the savannah, followed by a winter where it turned to moss, we decided last spring to sow a mix of flowers and let things go.


It wasn't immediately a huge success.
At first, it stayed too cold for a long time. The northern wind blew brightly. Weeks in a row.

When it finally got warm enough, a dry spell broke out.

The seeds remained. Nothing germinated.
