Iceland is known to many people as cold and wet.
That is partly true. The country is an island, more than 25 times the size of the Netherlands, and is located in the middle of the ocean.
This means that there is an extreme climate. It usually doesn't get warmer than a degree or twenty in the summer, and it almost always blows.
Let me add that the weather changes enormously!
