You'll find part 1 of this trip HERE.

Iceland is known to many people as cold and wet.

That is partly true. The country is an island, more than 25 times the size of the Netherlands, and is located in the middle of the ocean.

This means that there is an extreme climate. It usually doesn't get warmer than a degree or twenty in the summer, and it almost always blows.

Let me add that the weather changes enormously!

Three times impressive. the waterfall, the rainbow and the chocolate 😉
Extraordinary rainbow and nice accommodation. Despite the (changing) weather, a nice trip. Those peanut rocks. 😍
@Ingrid Tips en meer Iceland is about the only country where rain doesn't have to be disastrous.
Wonderful when you can see so much beauty, even the weather doesn't throw a spanner in the works. A special rainbow.
that waterfall, what a cool thing to say. I would have liked to hear the sound of that. That chocolate box does look very tempting, say?. Incredibly low I've never seen a rainbow. And this overnight stay can be there again. Come quickly with the sequel!!
@marijke this waterfall is just about the only one I didn't make a video of 🙈. That chocolate is very “wrong”. and I was also impressed by the rainbow. So low!

Very beautiful landscapes, but the weather would stop me from taking a summer trip out of this, I think.
@enigma if you like the sun, I get that. It's a tip of our anyways-but-not list on the emigration meter. But when we were there, the whole of the Netherlands chugged under the heat wave. Not bothered.
So you and car were able to swim well, it turns out
Wow!! It must be a fascinating experience to take that tour, very nice photos @Encaustichris , surprised yet.by such a peculiar rainbow or line of irises hehehehe
@naf1971naf thanks! Iceland is a present, over and over 🥰
