IKEDA the Belgian Bonsai Association.

A few years ago, I first participated in our club exhibition. It was my intention to show the visitors what is possible after a few years of Bonsaittraining. That's why I didn't show my best (purchased) trees, but only “own cultivation”. In retrospect, that wasn't such a good idea. Paying visitors have no message to an exposé of what a club member can do. They want to admire the most beautiful and preferably oldest trees; a lesson for the next exhibition.

These 'young' specimens are called Shohin.

Shohin are bonsai of maximum 21 cm height.

The plant above is a Kusamono or accent plant.
