Pain

Pain still hurts just as much
Whether or not someone sees it
But believing someone in their pain
May numb the intensity of pain

Pain is not always avoidance
And for not everything, you can buy medicine
But a comforting arm wrapped around you
Can help you endure the pain

Pain prevails in far too many people
You don't want to wish anyone your pain
But if no one believes in your pain
Do you feel deprived of your dignity

Pain, it will always stay with you
Few resources can expel that
But when you regain faith in yourself
Do you reach the point where healing begins
