So, after a night of practice, my first encaustic work is a fact.
I doubt it will win a beauty pageant or at all the
title 'painting' is worthy. but this is what I learned today.
I would like your feedback, not so much whether it's good or not or what I'm different
or could have done better (all sincere tips are always welcome).
No, I would like to know what feeling this drawing evokes to you.
What thought, what feeling. ?
Thanks in advance for your effort.

Because it's abstract, you can see different things in it.
This is how I see a mountain along which swirling clouds float by.
But the best thing I can see in it is in the middle a belly with a uterus in which a fetus is growing.
Then it has something figurative for me. I do like to see abstract paintings with harmonic colors. But still prefer something figurative.
That must be why I see that.
A human's brain is always looking for something they recognize.
So you can see a face in a stain on a piece of marble, for example.
In the blue and white tiles in my bathroom, I always see everything that does not appear in the shape of a rose in blue and white.
Abstract paintings fuel your imagination.
That's why they're also fun to watch. You can see what you want in it or what your brain wants to show you.👍
