Reshaping what post lockdown work-life looks like
1. Working from home
Many corporations have been rethinking their workspace requirements, as many people are being allowed/required to work from home. Offices are no longer buzzing; only skeleton staff are present. This is a great opportunity to get creative with your work area, make it a no-stress and calming space. Noisy children at home, distracting pets and household responsibilities are all part of the ‘work-from-home’ experience. The dynamics can get difficult, but if your desk is your Zen zone, none of that will matter.

One of the biggest trends is the need for fibre internet connection. Most global companies are increasingly putting fibre connection as a requirement on their online job posts. This not only allows internet access for the whole family but allows for work to be done throughout the day and/night.
2. Mastering tech in the Digi-age
Various companies are recruiting more external contractors and requiring less physical contact with employees. More people are attending meetings and conferences via video calling platforms. But while it helps the physical aspect, it doesn’t deal with the lack of spontaneity. Many people report feeling more drained after a video call, than an in-person meeting.

An alternative method starting to be re-introduced is the telephonic conversation. People generally feel more comfortable and less on the spot than the video rendition.
