Papier-mache is a hobby technique that has existed for years. With wallpaper glue and strips of newsprint, you can simply cover a shape of e.g. chicken wire, plastic trays, a balloon, glass bottles or other materials. You can do this with different layers that you allow to dry. The more layers you create with newsprint, the firmer the shape becomes.

Actually, you can make anything out of papier-mâché. It is useful if you first consider what your creation should look like, so that you create the overall basic form of newsprint, boxes, trays and painting tape. As soon as the basic shape is visible, you start working with the papier-mache. To get ideas, you can borrow dino books from the library.

Cut or tear strips of lace and make wallpaper glue to a thick gruel (wallpaper powder with water). Stick a number of layers of strips over the bins with wallpaper glue and leave strips hanging over them so that the edge looks frayed. Let the 2 eggshells dry, while you can start with the next step: the dino.
