Party or nightmare

What makes you tense?
It started so relaxed. Just a fun party with nice people. Maybe you recognize it. Chairs neatly placed in a circle. Side tables with colorful napkins on them. The invitation said, the party started at 8:00 pm. ending?
As usual, I will not be there at the specified time. When I enter at half past nine, almost all seats are occupied. There is another seat next to someone who has the highest word. Oh, too late for coffee. The cups and dishes, which still clearly show traces of cakes, are just heading to the kitchen. Works out well, saves a few calories. The vacant space on the not too large tables is quickly occupied by bottles of beer and wine. There is just space between the glasses for trays filled with nuts, olives and pieces of cheese. My neighbour is drinking well and he is getting louder and louder. He is in good shape because his stories make a lot of laughs. Maybe it's just me, but I just can't laugh about it. Could it sometimes be due to the fact that I don't drink alcohol? Then you probably don't understand that humor.
The smell of fresh flowers on the table is suppressed by the smell of already used frying oil. It doesn't bother anyone. The bitterballs taste better than you would think because of the air coming from the kitchen.
My neighbor is silent for a moment. However, he had some trouble with the two hot bitterballs that went into his mouth unscathed. His happy mood is gone and he blames the hostess for the hot round balls. The relaxed atmosphere has disappeared. There is something threatening in the air and I get the feeling of being a familiar dentist. When I'm waiting in the waiting room, I always feel tense. When I'm in love with butterflies and bricks in my stomach at the dentist. At the moment, the bitterballs seem to have become stones.
My neighbor obviously had a bad drink. Everyone screams at each other and the party becomes a nightmare. I want to leave and just get the chance to thank the hostess and disappear. I can relax a bit on the bike. The bricks leave my stomach.
