Working with pastels means getting your fingers dirty. And with this, a memory suddenly comes back.
Years ago, I had a workshop participant who went completely out of her mind because she got dirty fingers. She had not read the workshop properly. It resulted in a very early departure without a work of art. And she left me and the other participants with a bad taste.
Fortunately, the air cleared shortly after her departure and it was a successful day with great results 😊
