Patricia VelÁsquez
Born in Venezuela, of Wayú origin... Patricia climbed to the top of the fashion world becoming the first Latin supermodel to work on the catwalk for Chanel, Gucci, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana and Carolina Herrera to name a few, also appearing on the covers of countless magazines such as Vogue, Bazar and Marie Claire, such as has also starred in several advertising campaigns, including Allure, Pantene and New York & Co.
As an actress, Patricia has worked on countless films and television shows, including “The Jaguar”, “Zapata”, “Minds Hunters”, “Fidel”, “Arrested Development”, “CSI Miami”, “Rescueme”, “Ed” and “American Family”, but is most recognized for her role as Ank su Namun in the films “The Mummy” and “Return of the Mummy”. Her latest film is La Curse de La Cryona, which reached number 1 in the world box office.
Patricia Velásquez is a UNESCO artist for Peace. He received the Together Award at the UN in 2009. Patricia received the Human Rights Campaign award in 2018 as well as Goodwill Ambassador for the Organization of American States. #patricia
