Pay extra for medicines in 2021 seems to be coming
Next year, our medicines will no longer be fully reburdened, if it is up to Minister Bruins.
Medicines are expensive and because they are too expensive, Minister Bruins assumes that if he no longer reimburse these medicines completely, the prices of them may fall. But does the pharmaceutical actually think that way?
We have too few medicines in storage, for example, many medicines are not available in our country, while they are available in other countries. This is because the Netherlands pay too little for medicines and countries that want to pay more are delivered earlier than the Netherlands.
Would it matter whether we have to pay for the medicines ourselves or partly pay extra?
Should we hope for the pharmaceutical empathy?
