Do you also want to make your own cat pen jar? By gluing the MDF shape of 2 kittens to a wooden tray, you suddenly have a funny tray to store pencils, markers or other stationery. Nice for your desk, if you are a real cat lover! In our case, yes.. that's us! Our jar is now used to store our Crayola pencils. And the funny thing is, we pasted it with the new Decopatch paper: a cheerful design with colored pencils on it!
We have decorated the MDF cat bunch before, but with black and white cat design paper and dotted with Pearl pens. Below you can see that version:
This time we pasted the heart with a nice sequin mix, which glitters and sparkles nice! We'll never find too much color, but maybe you'll think differently? Of course, you can also pimp the desk little quieter, just what you like.

Paint the wood with white paint, so that the colors of the paper remain nicely fresh.

The jar is wrapped with a piece of paper, only the edge on the back is glued. The cats get a jacket of pieces of Decopatch paper and Decopatch glue/lacquer.

With chalk paint (English White) the heart and the heads of the kittens are painted.

You can also color the kittens and the heart with soft crayons, eg. with the Crayola Twistables. In the end, we have stuck the heart with nice shimmers.

Are you looking for cute eyes? There is a Decopatch sheet of paper with all kinds of nice eyes, which you can cut out and glue invisible with Decopatch glue!

These kittens are now guarding your desk things!
