Preaching the gospel, telling people that Jesus is alive Many believers see it as a tough task that does not suit them. But — and then, of course, I'm addressing my fellow believers — is that realistic? After all, preaching the good news is something that God Himself tells us (in His Word, in the Bible). And He also promises to assist us as we complete His work on Earth. Partly for this reason, He nevertheless poured out His Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost.

The disciples reached out and immediately went out into the street when the Holy Spirit had come upon them.

And with that boldness, we can also set out. We don't have to keep our faith to ourselves. Jesus Christ died and rose for everyone. He told us to deliver the message to everyone and everything around the world. Big news for you!

We may - or should - utter His Name, located or inconvenient. Shout Jesus from the mountains , Jesus in the streets, as it sounds in a beautiful song. As you go out and pray for you, the Father will give you what you ask for: His closeness, His Holy Spirit. He will put the words in your mouth. And only those who step out in faith will be able to bear fruit. God works with you and through you, but that is only possible if you move yourself. After all, we are not robots.
