Barking dogs

(this one is a bit exciting for the young listeners)

Pietje Puck one of the young pieten had not paid very close attention last year. He didn't know there was a namesake in our house. Puck our dog had not really assumed yet, that at night suddenly there would be a peck in the room.

At first Puck (the dog I mean now) had been terribly surprised that suddenly there were all shoes in the room. One even had a carrot in it!

Well, it must be a treat, with that thought Puck (again the dog) dragged all the shoes to his bench, and there deliciously ate the carrot and accidentally also a few pieces of shoe.

With a full stomach, he climbed on the couch and there, among a pile of pillows, fell asleep wonderfully.
