Its official premiere was on February 1, 2008 on Disney Channel, previously a preview of the first episode was broadcast on August 17 and September 28, 2007 on the same network.
The series follows the experiences of Phineas Flynn and his British stepbrother Ferb Fletcher during the summer holidays.Every day, the boys embark on a new project beyond the normal capabilities of some children, which annoys his sister Candace Flynn, who tries to reveal such projects to his parents. The series follows two plot structures in each episode, a main plot about the actions of Phineas, Ferb, and Candace; and a subplot centered on the protagonists' mascot, Perry the Platypus, who becomes Agent P, a secret spy who fights Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz, a villainous scientist who plans to dominate the city but is always caught in time by Perry.
Both plots intersect in the final outcome of each episode to erase all traces of the children's project just before their mother can see them, which usually leaves Candace very frustrated.
