A crowd and a sea of flowers, that was what you could see at the Opera Square in Antwerp today.

Thousands of people and a hundred thousand tulips brightened things up there. A collaboration between the city of Antwerp and the Flemish Center for Agricultural and Fisheries Marketing (VLAM). They already organized the picking garden for the sixth time, where you could pick a bouquet of Belgian tulips for free. Yes, you read that right, Belgian tulips, because tulips are also grown in Belgium. With the slogan β€œGreen from us”, the flowering season of the flower bulbs was festively opened and homegrown products were immediately promoted.

I watched it and saw it from a distance, took some pictures and now I would like to let you enjoy all that beauty. Unfortunately, I went home without a bouquet because sitting down so long is not a good idea with my back problem.
