Rosa Parks grew up in Alabama, where she learned to stand up for herself at an early age. She grew up to be a civil rights activist who, with her courage and dignity, started a movement that would put an end to racial separation. Rosa would never stop fighting for equal rights. It has become an example for countless people of courage, dignity and perseverance in the fight against inequality.
