At friends of mine they love cooking with fresh herbs. So there is all the necessary in the garden. But a spice tray inside is missing. They often stand there in their own purchased jar which quickly dries out. Time for a spice bowl! I had a boat-shaped flowerpot at home.. I didn't know a destination for it, but now I do!

With decopatch paper I worked this spice tray with 2 kinds of paper in the color blue.. their favorite color! At the top a ball band edge to finish it nicely and your spice tray is ready for use! I have finished the bin with Collall varnish glue.

There were still a few small holes in the flowerpot.. duct tape is then your greatest friend. Inside neatly pasted and underneath some hydro culture stones and the herbs could be in! They are still small (tarragon) and the basil is just half shortened, but maybe it will grow again in this container!
