Today, there is something to celebrate again. Indeed, February 26 is Pistachio Day. Although I really like these nuts now, I used to know absolutely nothing what a pistachio was and certainly not what it looked like. The only thing I knew was a green ball of pistachio ice cream and I really didn't like eating it. What this ice was then made of was a big mystery.

Now I know what a pistachio is, I like them and I also use them occasionally in my dishes.

So today is Pistachio Day and that should be celebrated.
