Plan 75 euthanasia against aging
Director Chie Hayakawa's feature film Plan 75, in which the Japanese government offers assisted euthanasia to residents aged 75 and over as a measure against aging in exchange for compensation or privileges.

Trailer and story are promising. A euthanasia project is also an effective remedy for excess past and memory, the disorder of mind that has resulted in such imperishable lines of poetry as these: “April is the grimmest month, it awakens/Lilacs from the dead land, mixes/Memories and longing, port/Lome roots up with spring rain”.

We will give up parts of Europe and greet the desert Tommy WieringaMay 12, 2023,
Travelling across Europe by train feels like saying goodbye to a loved one. There she goes. We don't want to, but we have to face it. We say goodbye to forests and glaciers, snow and ice and lakes and rivers. And much more, the loss is generally but not entirely foreseeable. In February, forests catch fire along the Mediterranean Sea; in April, a quarter of Europe faces a severe drought. We will give up parts of the continent and greet the desert.
