'First person' is presented by the Gabo Foundation and Google News Initiative, with the production of Podium Podcast.
This is a space for analyzing Ibero-American journalism through the voices of journalists widely recognized for their excellence, leadership and contributions to the genres in which they play.
'First person' is a benchmark for several generations of journalists, because of its solvency, its always rigorous information, its ability to illuminate what is important without distractions, its always informed opinions, its lucidity and its unbriberable view of reality.
She was the first woman in charge of a nationwide newspaper, El País, of which she was also deputy director, advocate for reader and correspondent. But even though she has risen to the top of the organization chart, she continues to define herself as a “editorial animal”.
