Currently, nearly 1 billion people worldwide listen to podcast, with Spain being one of the countries with the highest growth in listening rates worldwide.

Specifically, in Spain 41% of users say they listened to a podcast in the last month.

It is the country with the highest proportion of listeners worldwide, followed by Ireland (40%) Sweden (36%), Norway (36%) and the United States (36%), according to data collected by the Podimo platform.

In addition, according to the latest VoxNest report, spanish listeners have grown 94% during the first half of 2020.
