Poem: Socially isolated
Behind closed doors I find myself
surrounded by my family, but I feel so not happy
Socially isolated
waiting for the tide to ever return
Trapped in my own home, head and body
I stare at the spring flowers outside the window
The sun shines inside
but I can't find my peace
I enjoy every moment together
but I miss the friends who arrived unexpectedly
I miss the time to go out to dinner
to be free and to be able to stand anywhere
Rules have been imposed
and I find this perfectly justified
But I can't always accept them
That's something I need to learn in the next few weeks.
It is for everyone's health
that we all make sure that corona is not spread further
Everyone stay healthy and watch each other. Whether it's your closest friend/girlfriend, a family member, or a stranger, only together we can make sure Corona makes his return.
