Slight hand on the door
embarrassed smile.
Like all little men
walk on toes
in an anguished sympathy
that sparks sad from wet eyes
of mischievous dog.
An uncontrolled thrill of nerves
against the joy of the eyes
and the top of the mouth
to counteract the motion of years
that comes down
where there will be no more thrill
neither eyes nor mouth
where my love will look for you
breaking through the barriers between worlds.
Suck with the palate
the flavors of the earth
bread, wine and women's smells.
Pawn of the checkers, card, tg2,
chess figure, magician Zurli
so I see you.
I burn with jealousy outside of you.
But if I sting
with my damn antennae
your concrete human heart
maybe I wouldn't find what I'm looking for.
