Tierra que nació
Donde convergen las culturas
Donde la variedad es la mayor de las fortunas
Aquí llegó el español, el negro y el americano
Y otros hombres de lares lejanos
Buscando tierras y aventuras
En esta "tierra de gracia"como Colón la ha bautizado
Yo soy de aquí!
Donde se funden los sentimientos, las fuerzas y el poder de las manos
Para hacer de Venezuela un país de hermanos
Para sentarse en la mesa
y compartir una arepa de maíz
Con queso de mano
Yo soy de aquí!
Donde el folclore
Corre por nuestras venas
Con música de tambor !
Con alpargatas en los pies y al ritmo de un joropo bailamos hasta el amanecer
Escuchando a lo lejos la leyenda del silbon y los silbidos de aquel
Yo soy de aquí!
Donde las llanuras están arropadas de verdes follajes,
chaguaramos y cocoteros
De donde emergen los tepuyes
Singulares y el gran Salto Angel que se pierde en el cielo
Adornado por garzas blancas y otras aves en vuelo
Yo soy de aquí!
Una tierra de grandes riquezas
Petróleo,oro,carbón, y diamantes,
rios, mares, y lagos,
montañas picos, llanuras y costas
Y como diadema en sus copas está la orquídea nuestra Flor hermosa
Yo soy de aquí y amo mi país!
