Pointalism - drawing with the dots technique

Try out a new technique, let me go deeper into pointalism!

Drawings

Tried out today for the first time, pointalism, or drawing with the dotted technique. By putting more or fewer dots per surface, you get darker or lighter pieces in the drawing. So you don't use lines at all!

To begin with, it is convenient to use a black - white drawing, because then you can see the contrast in light and dark well.

Holding the image on a light box or against the window and then laying a canvas on it also helps to learn the technique.

Is this a technique that would like to try out? It can be done with pencil, use a colored pencil so that it does not stain too quickly, but if you have it I would do it with a fineliner or pigment pen.
