#history It was born on October 29, 1951 at the Cervecería Polar plant in Barcelona, Anzoátegui State under the name of Malta Polar, since then there have been few variations of the product, the first can that was going to be released on the market was banned by the government of Marcos Pérez Jiménez because it considered that the image of breastfeeding in which a breast or breast threatened morale; the most important change was that of Malta Polar by Maltín Polar and it is for this reason that it was decided to officially release it on the market in the following years.

In 2005 it launched the first malt bottled in plastic (PET) and a family plastic bottle of 15 liters, at the end of 2006 Maltín Polar Light began to be sold to diversify the company's market.
